You'll now work division problems that have a decimal point in the divisor (the number by which you'll divide the other number) only. You'll see that sometimes when you divide decimals, you have to put in a decimal point and zeros before you can move the decimal points.
Look at this problem. Notice the decimal point in the divisor.
To divide, first, put a decimal point after the 3 and add zeros. Now move this decimal point two places. How many places do you move the decimal point of the dividend (the number to be divided)? You move it two places.
Then put the decimal point in the answer and divide. The answer to 300 divided by 25 is 12 (300 ¸ 25 = 12).

Try another problem:
There's a decimal point only in the divisor, which is .15. Put a decimal point after the 9 and add zeros. Move the decimal point in the divisor two places. Move the decimal point in the dividend two places.
Put the decimal point in the answer and divide. Dividing 900 by 15 equals 60 (900 ¸ 15 = 60).
