Introduction to About Thomas L. Peterson
Thomas L. Peterson is a Partner in the Firm's Washington, D.C. office. Mr. Peterson's primary areas of practice include litigation, counseling on patent, trademark, copyright and licensing matters as well as the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications. Previously, Mr. Peterson worked as an engineer for the Packard Electric Division of General Motors Corporation and as a patent examiner for the Patent and Trademark Office in the Semiconductor Devices and Solid State Logic Circuits arts. He has litigated in many of the various Federal District Courts around the country.
Mr. Peterson's experience includes intellectual property rights and procurement; intellectual property litigation; and licensing of intellectual property rights. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and has been admitted before the U.S. Supreme court, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Mr. Peterson holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Youngstown State University, Ohio and a J.D. from the Cleveland-Marshall Collge of Law, Ohio.
