Jason Hoch leads the HowStuffWorks Product Development team, focusing on the continual improvement of the user experience for the HowStuffWorks and Consumer Guide properties.

Prior to HowStuffWorks, Jason was Vice President of Internet Operations for Imaginova, a network of online media and commerce brands. In this role, he was responsible for the execution and coordination of Internet-related strategy and operations across the company's content and e-commerce assets, which included the leading science-themed content Web sites SPACE.com, LiveScience.com, Aviation.com and the e-commerce Web sites OrionTelescopes.com, LiveScienceStore.com and StarryNight.com. He joined the Company through an acquisition of Starport.com, a leading space and education-themed media company where he was Director of Operations.

Jason has also served as Web Communications Manager for Tekelec, a leading telecom equipment provider; as Senior Account Manager at Interpath Communications, an Internet consulting firm; and as a member of the Technical Staff at MCNC, the Microelectronics and Supercomputing Center of North Carolina.

Jason holds bachelor degrees in political science and history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a volunteer youth soccer coach.
